why are all the mulitples of 10 a blind number, eg, 10, 20 30 etc..

Except number 10, which was always Maggie’s den!!!
Because the "0" part of the numbers is a place holder.
When you multiply by 10, you’re turning units into 10s, 10s into hundreds, hundreds into thousands and so on.
So at some point, you’re going to reach a multiple which has, say, hundreds and tens but no more units. So where the units part of the number is, you put a zero to mark "no units".
I’m sorry I don’t understand anything about gambling!
