what is the rated play in a casino for jacks or better?

For those of you who go to Casinos I am interested to know if you happen to know what the rated play for video poker is to determine the number of comps you can get after about an hour.
Another thing is how much would you have to put in betting 1.25 per hand to last you an hour?

Video poker is not rated by most casinos, only the table games are rated.
You can get comps playing video poker, simply get a players cards at the casino where you are playing and be sure to put it in the slot on the machine when you play. This will record your "action" and the casino will give you comps based on the number of hours you play and your average bet.
Don’t expect a lot in the way of comps from the 25 cent video poker games for only an hour. And if you are going to an Indian Casino, don’t expect anything.
These machines are averaged out at about 80-90 hands per hour, and if you are good and play proper strategy, the paybacks are pretty good. So at $1.25 per pull I would plan on bringing 3 twenty dollar bills.
And be sure you play a " 9/6 " jacks or better and NOT and " 8/5 " machine. If you do not know what this means, don’t play till you do! Full pay Jacks or Better, or 9/6 Jacks or Better, is the top payout for this variety of video poker. Full pay offers a payback percentage of 99.54%.
Most casinos who offer full pay Jacks or Better also offer 8/5 Jacks or Better, which has a far inferior payout percentage. (Dropping from 99.54% to 97.3%). The house edge is more than 4 times greater on an 8/5 machine, so finding a 9/6 game is a smart thing to do.

Depends on the casino you play at for "comps". You would have to ask your local casino.
How much you would have to put in playing $1.25/hr to last an hour depends on how fast you play and how lucky you are in the short-term.
Recently I lost $100 at $1.25/hand in 40 minutes. I played about 500 hands in that span. That sucked…haha.
i’ve never heard of video poker being rated, but i’m sure it can be. usually, for the machine games, they go by total spent, and then look it up in a chart to see what you can get. when i was there, i spent about $100/day at slots, and put my winnings back in. my play was rated at around $800/day, good enough for a buffet for two.
