Apparently, some of my mates were playing blackjack but It wasn’t up to 21 it was something like UNO. You hold 5 cards or 8 cards, you put one card on the surface and the players put the cards that is the same suit. Eg, clubs, hearts…etc. Please tell me this game.
The payoff percentages on slot play are legally adjustable so why not the blackjack games? I am referring to blackjack games that have real people for dealers.Probability laws donot appear to hold true in casino blackjack even if you are only watching the game over an extended period of time.
I know that the hi lo system works in blackjack because of deck flucuations, but in poker, could the same technique be applied to help guess the probability of beneficial cards coming up, or could it be used to guess a players hand?
I’m thinking of going to a dealer’s school here in Las Vegas. Blackjack for sure is a go; poker has too many variants and I can do that later. So I want to pick up a second game, either craps or roulette. Which one would be better to learn in order to be viable in the job market?
EDIT: "Dealing" in Las Vegas doesn’t necessarily mean card games. You can deal craps and roulette — It just means you administer the game, pay out wins, collect losses, spin the roulette wheel, etc.
In any other form of gambling in the world, the odds favor the house, not the player. But in this one particular game, blackjack, the winner is the one with the highest value not exceeding 21.
So unless the casino is card-fixing, the winning hand either comes up in the dealer’s favor, or the player’s favor, 50-50 chance either way.
How does a casino take that 50-50 and turn it into the "odds always favor the house" scenario?
I’ve heard there are both good and bad online casinos out there. I’ve heard horror stories and I’ve also heard stories of people winning big. But I don’t just want an honest place to play (I think I know how to tell the difference), I ALSO want a place that offers a large selection of blackjack and good payouts on the slots. Thanks!
Anyone know what the table minimums are for all the casinos in Shreveport/Bossier City on blackjack and craps?
