How does a blackjack tournament work?

My local casino offers both monthly and weekly blackjack tournaments. Let say the entry fee is , does this mean that you would get worth of chips or would your buy in start you out at something like 0 worth in chips ? Is the winner determined by who has the most money at the end of the tournament?

What do you think of my roulette idea?

Here is my idea for winning at roulette. First pick two of the rows, it doesn’t matter which ones and put chips on their 2 to 1. Then pick two of the first, middle, or last 12 rows and put chips there. You have 16 numbers that you can now win a decent profit on…16 numbers that although you lose a little money you won’t lose too much cause you win some back with either a column win or a 12 number win…and only 6 numbers that you can lose on (the 6 includes 0 and 00).

Example: On the first 16 number possibility you can put down 0 and get back 0

On the second 16 number possibility you can put down 0 and get back 0 (yes you lose but at least you lose more slowly)

On the last 6 your just screwed.

(sorry about the double post)
For those who are telling me that casino odds are still in their favor and i will lose, yes I know that…I am just trying to find a way to get better odds so you can play longer and if ya get lucky make more money.

so ive been to Atlanitc city a lot n been there with my frineds playin roulette but ive never played it there. only online n i have a way to win money so i wanna do it for real. so like, when i go there, where/how do i get chips? i know how to cash them in. n can i just quit whenever i want?

I have read all over online that when you win money at a casino (I have never been) that you will either get paid in cash or with chips or with some sort of voucher???? How does this all work can somebody please explain. And is there a difference between how they pay you for slots and table games? Also, what happens if you win big like millions of dollars? Is it different? Thanks.

I am making my own blackjack table for home use. I am about to order chips for the table and I was wondering if anyone who has ever worked as a dealer can provide guidance on how many chips are needed at the table. (I am stocking white to purple) What quantities should I buy, and what should I load out to begin with?

i want to play electronic roulette. i played it in vegas, but i am back home and i want to know if anyone knows of any casinos in the chicagoland area that offer this game. if youre not sure what it its, it looks like regular roulette, with a real dealer spinning, except around the table there are little computers with touch screens where people can sit at and place their bets instead of using actual chips. let me know! thanks!

How do you approach a blackjack table?

I’ve gone gambling at a casino before, but only on slot and virtual machines. How do you approach an actual blackjack table (or any table game)? Are you supposed to go to the cashier before to get chips, or can you bring cash straight to the table and have them change it out there?

I’ve never played blackjack in "real life" only online. Could I learn on my own? Do I need chips when I practice it by myself? I wanna gamble professionally any tips?
