Given the average payout of the lottery vs. the odds of roulette, am I more likely to win money playing in the lottery or in roulette (and letting it ride until it equals the average NYC lottery payout.)
Please show the math.

I know about the 5.27% odds against you, I mean are there any casinos online stroking the software while you’re playing.

So i did a little research and found out that the house advantage for blackjack is ~8%. So the odds of losing any given blackjak hand is 58%. What are the odds of losing 6 hands in a row?

Are there any blackjack websites where you can find odds?

In any other form of gambling in the world, the odds favor the house, not the player. But in this one particular game, blackjack, the winner is the one with the highest value not exceeding 21.
So unless the casino is card-fixing, the winning hand either comes up in the dealer’s favor, or the player’s favor, 50-50 chance either way.
How does a casino take that 50-50 and turn it into the "odds always favor the house" scenario?

For my Data Management class we have to make a casino game and I would like to ask if any of you people out there could come up with a game similar to those in las vegas, but obviosly not the same. The game has to consist of chance and an outcome, and obviosly making odds that are better for the owner of the game, and worse for the player (Thats how all casino games work).
Thanks in advance!
